Walleye Guy
Italian dressing also works great for the not so tender venison or venison that may be a little gamey tasting lick the old swamp buck or doe. the vinegar helps tender it up a bit and the italian seasoning adds a good flavor. Grill it to medium rare and you are set to go.
wildirishrose
Agreed, are you using the "Montreal steak seasoning"? If you are try adding 1/2 tsp of liquid smoke and a 1/2 tsp of tobasscao (sp). Crank the grill up to max and seer for 1 min. per side, than move to top rack for 10 min @ 250, flip 1 or 2 times, play a George Jones CD and have a beer and it almost feels like deer camp.
