Did any of you see the fireball in the sky Friday night about 11 pm? I was coming in off the lake and a big fireball was traveling from West to East, I stopped the truck and watched the thing until it broke up into a mess of sparks. Pretty cool, I have seen plenty of falling stars but I have never seen one breakup like that before.

I was out on a lake near Brainerd fishing and I saw that too!!! The thing went a ways across the sky before it burnt out. I was like...."anyone else see that....I have never seen a shooting star go that far."

Nobody believed me.....but it was pretty cool...LOL

More than likely a satilite re-entering the atmosphere. I was lucky enough to watch a russian space station burn up right over my head back in 89. It was the coolest thing I ever saw. You could actually see it twisting and breaking up and burning up right overhead. It went on for almost 2/3s of the sky.

I to think it was a U.F.O. I watched it land in South Dakota. 4 littlle green men got out of a space ship looking machine and started to ice fish. After a few minutes they got back in their spaceship and left. Never believed in ufo's until now blush.gif

Their guidance system had malfunctioned. They got it fixed using some of the scales off the fish that they caught in ND and then they came to my house. I have done quite a substantial amount of research on the Meander bird and they wanted to know where they would have the best change of finding one. They want to take a pair back to their planet to use them for feral cat control. I told them the last I knew there were a bunch of them hanging around a fish farm up near Brainerd. They must have found some because they never came back. Them lil green guys are very tough, and if you know how hard it is to sex a Meander you will know what I am talking about. Hey I seen it to, was wondering why they left early, maybe they got there limit?? Maybe they will see this post and let us know where and how they got them to bite!!!LMAO!!!
