ZapBranigan
Has anyone used Canadian Fly-In Outposts Lakes. This group starts from Clearwater lake and flys you to Krooked, Entwine, or Upper Frypan Lake. Would like to get an idea of what to expect from someone who has used them or a similar fly in group. The fly in service is seperate so not much about that I can do. But these lakes only have their cabins on them? They make it sound like that. They have an add on hsolist but no savings there starting bid is the same as there normal rates. Price seems to reasonable so I'm not sure what other costs I'm missing. I know licenses and groceries and bait would be extra. But any idea what other surprises I would have to acct for?
superbee
I really haven't heard of them, but the lakes are familiar. We go with L&M Fly In based on Clearwater Lake, they used to own them, but after they bought some other lakes, sold those off. I know L&M runs a good operation you should check them out. Thay'll point you in the right direction. Hope this helps.
hoggs222
I've been to one in NW Ontario in Sioux Lookout. It is called Hidden Bay Resort. hiddenbay dot com. We fished on Lake Miniss. Great time. Yes, this is the only cabin on the lake. If you look at their HSOforum, you can see the lakes & # of cabins per lake. The cabins are very nice with solar power to boot. hoggs222
I forgot to mention, they have indoor toilets too! They even flush!
superbee
Flush toilets are nice, but if they don't have fish, I don't care to flush.
