2/2 Reports: Casino Peppered Perch......a JUMBO!!!!!! (pics)

Hit the water with KP today. Thanks mucho for the invite as well as the stop off at your killer pond. Nice piece of water. I see some nice fish coming outta there.

Got there around seven. Checked a few wholes, no doubt recent. Thanks! A quick heel and I was in bidness. Marked some fish, though no takers. Different presentations too, small yellow finkie, small oranged eyed/glow jammin jig, and finally heavier jig with some white maribou. Figured try deeper water with a jigging rap.

Seen a huge fish cross the vex. I pounded the Dave Genz Lightning ice rod feverishly. Then "boom" got one on. On two lb micro ice took about 5 minutes to get in. Peeled a lot of line, plus the heavy current, made for "touchy" reel in. Finally landed, with what at first glance, I thought, was the biggest casino peppered perch I ever saw. What a fight.
