Ash River/Kabetogama area received another 5" of snow today, 1/12/05. Puts us over 2' for the season. Trails are best I've seen since 1990 and I have seen all years in between! The Kab groomer is out tonight as it just went by my house!

Lakes are awesome with marked trails - the bays are great for outstanding open powder running! Rode from Kab to Elephant to Rainy to Ash River the past 2 days and saw 18 sleds and 3 groomers! For more great trail and lodging and services info, check out the ash river-kabsnowdrifters.org web site!
