wondering

i live in the mankato area, down here im catching 5 to 10 walleyes a night only a couple keepers in the bunch though wondering how the bite is up north and what is working to catch the big one.

I don't live to far north (Northern suburbs) but we have also been doing very well for walleyes. Last time out we released 6 small ones, kept 3 and had two break off. One of the fish that broke off was somewhere around 26" We are using shiners and a plain hook.

ive heard alot this season what about using a single hook, i personally havent used that set up yet, but i will give it a try tthanks

I was out north of Aitkin saturday and got a couple and missed a bunch. Shiners and a plain hook worked for me too.
