got out today finally at about 12:30 today..I lost about 5 fish half way up the hole..but my partner managed 4 fish...his biggest previous walleye was no bigger than 4 pounds, and this is only his second year ice fishing..needless to say he's really hooked..

this is a 30 incher..

Very nice Greenbacks! How was it getting around on the river? Slushy? That is one heck of a way to break in a new fishhouse. A buddy of mine has the same house and he really likes it. I'm sure you will, too.

Thanks for the great photos.

slushy around the edges..was fine out in the middle till i drilled the holes..then we fished in 2 inches of h2o..I actually caught one sauger, it came off the hook at the top of the hole swam around on the ice/with 2 inches of water, for about a minute, then found a hole and down she went..was good for a chuckle. smirk.gif

Ryan,

I'm seriously contemplating on getting the Eskimo quick flip III. I need a bigger house especially now my 11 and 6 year old daughters are getting the ice fishing bug. In your opinion would there be plenty of room for me and my 2 sidekicks? Thanks for the info and beautiful walleyes by the way!
