anybody use them in the winter and if so, do they work? Probably hard to obtain in some areas but know they are available here and would think that for gills and perch at least little pieces of them on the hook work but have never tried it.

I've used crawlers and caught eyes in Jan with 17" ice in 34 ft water. I still have about 8dz left over from soft water and plan on using them again on the first. They wiggle nice and that seems to trigger the eyes, or at least works for me, Rick
