Beef and Potatoes

Can a guy bring beef or potatoes into Canada?

At the border going into Canada I have been asked if I had potatoes which they don't allow in. But I the way back into the U.S. they will ask about any meat you may have. If it can not be proven that it has been inspected in the U.S. they will not allow you to bring it in.

Pete, You can bring beef in no problem, as far as potatoes go I believe only whole unpeeled are banned. I've brought frozen fries and hash browns into Ont. and Sask. this year with no problems. DrJ.
