benelli_dude2002
My dad and I went for a ride on christmas eve. Put on 60 miles, went from dads to sabaskong bay, miles bay and went home from there. Checked a few cabins and found one wolf kill by rabbit pt. It was a spike buck and just a few bones and the head were all that remained. They got more snow up there than we do in baudette but the lake is rough in some spots but as far as getting around I would say that sleds would be the way to get around. There was quite a few places were there was slush and it froze and there was still some slush that we hit. Dad actually drove his pickup out there the day before and you can go anywhere with a 4 wheel drive. Seen there was one house set up at Hay island. He drove his truck out towards Hay bay on the south side of sabaskong bay. Hope this helps! Brian
