E-mailing pics

I need help e-mailing some fishing pictures. Last year I talked to someone on the site about going to Manitoba, and he recently e-mailed me about our results. I am trying to e-mail him the pictures, but all of the pictures are huge and won't send because of the file size. What do I have to do to shrink them down enough to send? Thanks for any help.

You need to resize the pics.

If you want, email me, and I can send you a small program that will shrink the pics down to 50k or so, instead of the massive 1 and 2 megabyte files.

Pic quality is just fine when shrunk down too.

If your pictures are on your computer under My Pictures, open the picture, then right click on the picture and select open with paint, then near the top click on Image, go to sketch and skew, then toy with the percentages until you get it shrunk down to the size you want. When you open the pictures up on your computer you should have a menu on the left if you click on the e-mail area you can edit the pictures before you email them, it resizes them for you, and you can view them before mailing. Good luck. Bob Auel

The nice thing about the resizer.exe, is that you can dump in dozens of pictures at once and downsize the file. You don't have to do each one individually.
