Alright all you northern fisherman probably won't know the answer to this question but, have any of you heard if Deweese is frozen yet? Gilles, if you're out there have you heard?

Sorry! I meant northern as in location not fish. However, they do have Tiger Muskies in Deweese. It is located right by Westcliffe.

My son caught a rainbow last year in Deweese that was pretty badly scared up. It was a fresh scare so we know there's big muskies in there. The water was to cloudy to see any thru the fish house.

That's a bummer about the cloudy water. Most of the fun my kids have is seeing the fish through the holes. Lake John is extremly clear.

Fished from 10-4:30 today. My buddy and I caught over thirty fish. A couple with decent size. Marked fish all day on the VEX. They were a little finicky however. Great weather and scenery and of course fish!

Lucky, are the trout you catch pink or white meated?

The one fish we kept was pink. Are you thinking of heading up there?

Hey,Lucky I spent a couple of hours at Deweese today with my son and grandson.It was beautiful.My son had to get back,wish I'd taken my own truck.Looked like most were getting some nice fish.One guy caught a good brown you could here his glee a accross the lake in terms I better not post.

Am think of going to Deweese on the 27th and 28th but I would like to know how big the bows are. Had trouble with my old alias and had to get a new one. (ice man dave)

Most of the trout that are caught through the ice at Deweese are stocker trout. I heard they stocked a ton just before it iced up, but the ocasional 16 to 18 incher is pretty common plus there's tigermusky, Lucky7 can tell you what its like going after those, I've never went tried to ice a musky.
