Duffer
about how many fish will the ice well hold at max?
Bruce Mosher
jphersh22, The Ice-Well comes in two sizes. The 7" model for the 8" and 9" augers and the 9" model for the 10" augers. You could possibly put the 7" model down a 6" hole. You would have to put fish inside the bag and then place in hole. The outside foam ring would sit on top of the ice. You would have to keep an eye on it so that it wouldn't freeze to the top of the ice. I can not wait to start filling my 9" Ice-Well with Red Lake Crappies!!! Pop out the Hook and toss 'em in. No wasting time! Bruce Mosher
Dakota Iceman
Dumb question here....say you put 3 17" wallys in this bag as your ice fishing...is the flotation enough that the fish couldnt pull it under the water or even under the ice and you lose not only your fish but the basket too??? Bruce Mosher
Dakota Iceman, 3-17" Walleyes will not pull the Ice-Well under. My friend had 7 walleyes in the Ice-Well and it still floated. If you are at all worried about it you can always tie off one of the handles to a bucket, ice auger, ice house etc... Thanks, Bruce Mosher
