bgfish00
I have found a good deal on a 2wd 250 ATV. Does anyone know how that will handle pulling my Lodge on the Lake this year....
Ole #1
It might work if you put chains on the tires, but I would do some more looking for a 4wd atv.
Franchiz
I use a Yamaha YTM 200 3-wheeler to get my Eskimo QuickFlip III out on the lake. When it is weighed down with my deep cell battery and electronics, sunflower heater and power auger, I haven't had any problems. But, I also recommend the use of tire chains. I also have downhill skis attatched directly to the bottom of the sled for protection from wear.
MNice
I assume by "lodge" you mean the otter lodge. I have a smaller otter, I think its the cabin, 2 man. I pull it all over the lake with a 250 polaris 2 wheel drive. Instead of chains, I put in 1/2" sheet metal screws, hex head, in the lugs of the tires, front & back and it handles great. It will not go through real deep snow, but it's great on hard pack, and really great on glare ice. the screws in the front really helps in turning on glare ice. Hope this helps
