loosegoose
Unfortunatly it's already closed, now that there is over 100k geese down there. Every other refuge in the state has a late December season. I don't know why Lac Qui Parle can't!
wallygators
Hey guys i don't know if you heard but there was some talk of Lac Qui Parle opening for the late season since it was a Crappy harvest down there this year
whitewolf6647
I don't think they are going to open it for late season then they would have to open up the entire west central goose zone and I now that's not going to happen. They really should and I would love to see it but I'm almost positive it won't happen. There's so many geese around here it's unbelievable. Between Wheaton and down there in the refuge I know there's close to 500,000 if not more. I have never in my life seen this many geese around for this long. But between late goose opener tomorrow and the cold weather that's suppose to hit here next week they may not be around to much longer granted some will stick around but a few may move on. Only time will tell.
