making your own venison sticks

My wife and I were in St. Cloud this weekend and she bought a mix from Wildlife seasonings for pepper sticks, and I bought the hickory mix. We'll just mix it with the right amount of ground venison (3 pounds for this mix), use the round attachment on the jerky gun, and then put it in the dehydrator. Then we'll bag them in usable amounts and freeze them for later trips.

Make sure you mark your bags of jerky, three months from now when you take them out, you can either say this one is good, lets do this again, or nope, won't make this one again.
