looks nice for ice

saw the forecast for the upcoming week and looks like highs in the high 20's and lows around 15! I am hoping by Friday or Saturday I can hit some backwater areas for some panfish, I would bet there would be 2" by Saturday with 2-3 consecutive days below freezing. Fished out of the boat today, and maybe by Friday will be sitting on a bucket!

You think so? FOR those that are DARING enough to venture on thin ice it might be ready after this week...I'm eying the weekend after the ICE SHOW to be on the ice!

Wishfull thinking maybe? It's a long season and I certainally don't want to go through or worse for a few fish. How much ice will form in 3 days with temps from 15-30 degrees?
