The Gov fishing

Just seen Kent Hrbeck Outdoors on TV. Jesse the Gov was on, carp fishing on the Mississippi. Kind of a neat show. Funny to see our former Governor in some sort of braided beard deal.

He is a odd duck! President? Oh man! One thing is at least he is his own person and dont seem to give a dump about what others think.

that is what i really liked about him. he was definately not a politician. we need to find a president that doesn't care about party politics.

Chad711,Here's my take on Jesse. He got us the light rail (good/bad, depends on your outlook), he was always in the news for some reason and if you where in Jesse's inner circle he was a great gov. If you wherent in the circle he was just a figurehead. My 2 1/2 cents.

I think he was going for the Lou Albono (sp) look. Ya know, All Star Wrestler with body piercing and paper clips.

I guess I was set back when he said he was a gov that "talked and listened to the people" or something like that. Thinking how he slipped out the back door and did the Navy Seal Extraction out of hostile territory via helicopter during the State Employee Strike Talks to escape a whole lot of questions came to mind.

All of us poor college students sure appreciate the hike in tuition rates he was a part of. We're still getting fallout from that, even though he's long gone. I definitely agree that we could use more candidates that share 'jesse the body's lack of party affiliations, but i also believe that we could use someone a little more intelectual than 'jesse the mind'
