Sharkbait
Spent the last 4 days fixin up a cabin my son bought up between Grandby and Shadow Mt. Grandby and Grand still are open water, BUT THE WHOLE SOUTH HALF OF SHADOW MT IS FROZE OVER. NOW I KNOW YA CAN'T WALK OUT ON IT BUT THE WHOLE SOUTH HALF IS ICED OVER. About 50-60 people fishin Grandby (Really Low but looks like it's coming up a bit). Get yer Auger's ready. Hardwater's coming. Can't Wait. Keep Yer Line Wet n Good Luck Fishin - - - -\ Sharkbait

Don In Denver
The earliest safe ice I usually hear about is at the Snake River inlet to Dillon Res. Often it's fishable by Thanksgiving weekend --- only 2 weeks away!
