Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has plans or knows where to get plans for building and ice house on a drop down trailer. I have an 8x14 v-front trailer. How does the house attach to the trailer? Any help would be great!

most people use self tapping "wood to metal" screws to secure the floor to the frame. Teks make a good screw of this kind and you can probably find them at any hardware store or somewhere like Fastenal, or probably even online.

Others have used lag bolts. The Teks screws come in a max of 3 inches I beleive.

i welded 3" long 1/2" studs to the frame that come up throught the wall plate, that way you tighten the wall down to the floor and it will not come off. just like framing a wall in a house.
