Double D
Well, another deer season is upon us. This year I have heard only a couple little comments about CWD. The DNR says they will check deer again, but it definitely is not getting the publicity it has the last few years.I realize this can pop up again at any time, but have we gotten rid of CWD for the time being, or was it never the danger it was made out to possibly be? Nuge'sBloodBrother
Double D, I see you are from Redwood County. I'm from Redwood Falls. Where are you at? If you don't mind telling, what area are you hunting. Good luck this weekend.
Double D
Nice to see somebody else around here on this forum. Live in Morgan, born and raised in Wabasso. Always deer hunt up north by Pine River, but have also tried a few times on the WMA north of Wabasso over the years. Grew up only a couple miles from there.DD
TomBow
Check out the MN DNR HSOforum for more info. There have been ZERO positives out of 9988 deer sampled in 2003 in Minnesota, which is the best news we can hope for. Until someone gets a deer tested with CWD in MN, most hunters are in "wait and see" mode. The positive-CWD count in WI is 327, only 1 has been tested out side of the "CWD-Eradication Zone". Check out the WI DNR HSOforum for more info.
