Heading Out Thursday

Well..I missed opener so Luci and I are heading out on thursday for the day. I'll also bring my girlfriend along. She wants to try Pheasant hunting (never has been). I usually hunt around the Kimball area given a relative has over 500 acres of farm land but we want to try elsewhere.....Anyone have a particular county that might be better than the other? A buddy of mine hunted the Marshall area and they didn't see much. He also said when he was on the same land for Duck opener they saw tons of Pheasants in the area! I was thinking of heading to the Redwood Falls area. Anyone hunt this area? Thanks, Tim

I have a question about regulations......If i'm bringing along my girlfriend and she is not going to have a gun, she'll just be walking with me, does she need a license??

Shouldn't need a license unless she carries the gun.
