woodyjdh
Has anyone got a NASCAR rulebook for us to reference too? Of course not. That is one of the biggest oxy*****s there is. Nascar explains it as...."the rules change almost weekly, and it would be difficult to reprint after each revision". Which makes sense. But in light of the Stewart-Vickers incident, and the recent discussion of green, yellow, white, red & checker flag finishes, I think they need to sit down during the "off season" and say to themselves.."here are the rules we will enforce for the beginning of this coming season". And then go from there, although many incidents are similar, and warrant a rule change...it is becoming a hypocracy. Years ago it was nothing to see drivers duke it out on or off the track, but now all you can "legally do" is run a line on the track and hope you don't bump someone for fear of fines or other penalties. I don't want to see anyone hurt, but for crying out loud, if a guy sees an opening, and takes it, but someone attempts a block..and he gets spun out...so be it. Rubbin's racing son!
