How can I make my 12ft jon boat legal for night fishing? I don't want to wire anything into the boat, and am wondering if there's another way.

battery flashlights they come in a pack.... they just clamp on. red/green for bow, and white light for back(aft or fantail if you prefer)

yeah thats what we did with our pontoon after the wiring went bad. They sell the red/green ones at Kmart for like $10, i didnt buy one of the back ones though, i just put a lantern on the boat or take the top off of a mini-mag
