Can you use these with a diesel motor? If so what battery do you hook it up to?

YES YOU CAN AND DEPENDING ON WHAT MAKE OF TRUCK YOU CAN HOOK THE STAYNCHARGE TO THE FUSE TERMINAL BLOCK IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BECAUSE MOST NEWER TRUCKS HAVE A POSITIVE POST IN THE FUSE BLOCK.

NO PROBLEM AT ALL. THE PARTS GUY FROM HANNAYS HAS THE SAME TRUCK AND I PUT ONE IN HIS IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES.
