Ice and Slush Conditions on LOW &CROW

I had to postpone my trip to LOW and Crow this week because my snowmobile got stuck at the repair shop. I'm heading up next Thurs. 3/4 any report on ice and slush conditions on Crow to Rowan; and Stevens Bay to Hay. We wil be using sleds.

does any one know if muskey bays cabin that holds 8 people is open for ice fishing....

Yes, It is open for winter , search on the resort locator here for Muskie Bay resort and go to their web site.

fishnut, is their big cabin that sleeps eight open? we had heard that the septic froze,and they couldn't get at it till spring..thanks for the help

Yep...That is correct. The line to the mound system is frozen, it should be ok by now....don't know. I am heading up there the 17th of March with 16 people and Paul said it should be ok by the time we arrive. I talk to him once a week, so I will keep people informed.

The weekend of 2/27-2/28 from Crow to Rowan was fine. On Sunday a few slushy spots had started to re-form. I haven't heard anything more recent than that.
