Clearwater West Lake in Atikokan

I know this may be early for some but it is never to early for me to start thinking about ice fishing. I am thinking about planning a trip through Browns Clearwater West Lodge. I heard they pull some big lakers out of there and in fact it holds the record. Can anybody give me any insight into this area and how the fishing is in January.

I've fished Clearwater in the summer, haven't in the winter yet. From what I've heard the later you go the better the fishing so March would be better than January but can't say from experience.
