lighted nocks?

Recommended Posts

Thinking about trying some of them lighted nocks for your arrows. They look like they would help finding the arrow and where your hit is. Has anyone tried them yet, would like to hear how they work. Thanks

I must be out of the loop on this one. I have never heard of them. Secondly, I go through a lot of knocks target practicing and I wouldn't want to change nocks and find out too late that it changed my flight characteristics.

my buddy bought a couple of these things and they look pretty slick. how it works is you put it in the arrow but dont push it in all the way. then on the part of the nock that "seats" against the end of the arrow there are two little metal contacts. so when you shoot and your arrow hits whatever it is that your shooting at, the nock gets pushed in a little farther and those contacts touch the end of the arrow so it makes the light come on. i think the light will stay on for like 40 hours and then i suppose the battery is too worn out to light it up anymore.

There that shouldn't be too confusing for you right. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I was looking for someone who has shot them at deer and was wondering if it helped them pinpoint the shot. If it helped them find the arrow after the shot in the dark. Pay attention. Thats how you learn things is by asking. If you don't know, don't bother. Sorry are you confused now.
