deer farm

is there any deer farms(where kids feed the deer) anywhere close to the metro area within an hour? if you know of one please tell phone # or web site also thanks for your help. kids are really into deer/deer hunting.

I have never been there, only seen it: just across the border in Wisconsin, east of Taylors Falls on highway 8, I think it’s called Fawn-da-rosa. Otherwise, Whitecombs Whitetails in Princeton has deer that you can check out and feed.

Fawn-Doe-Rosa is still there and a great place to take the kids. They have all kinds of animals besides deer. You can buy feed for them right there. I took my kids a couple of years ago and this just reminded me that it is about time to do it again. The above post was correct. take hwy 8. east into wisconsin and it is only a few miles east in St. croix Falls I believe. You will see it on your left hand side.

Fawn-doe-rosa is the place to go...

I would guess its only a mile or two into wisconsin on the north side of hwy 8.

It cost a few dollars to get in and the feed cost about $1/bag the last time I took the kid there.

Cheap entertainment and a great layout.
