I just bought one. 270. Anybody out there got any reports as to how they perform?

I bought mine 2 years ago. I did follow Remington's break in recommendations, and it sighted in very nice. 2" group @ 100 yards off the hood of my truck, no bench, no sandbags, etc. The two problems I have is, #1, it's ugly , and #2, I have yet to shoot at a deer with it. Must be Murphy's law, buy a new gun and don't see deer for 2 years. . Bottom line, I have no regrets about this gun, and I would recommend it to anybody who wants a low cost high power rifle.

I bought one (30.06)before last season and so far I am very pleased. I am two for two with it so far and it seems to be very accurate on the range. However, I do agree that it is not to appealing to the eye.
