Harvest progress?

Anxious for the upcoming pheasant opener amd curious as to how much crop is out there.

Can't wait for the weekend and to enjoy some of that hospitality from the local S. Dakotans.

The soybeen harvest is in full swing here in Eastern SD. The corn is lagging, but will start to come out shortly. Not sure how shortly, but my guess is not until after opener. I have found a few picked cornfields while scouting for ducks and geese but they are pretty few and far between.

well I am willing to give you some info even though you are a Minnesotan.... j/k lol

I grew up in SD live in the cities now. But I go back to hunt some relatives land every year.

As to the crops, its a good point. I am debating of going back for opener just because my relatives dont have alot of crops out. Plus I am taking out some fellow Minnesotans the week after opener. So hope that helps, but that is just my relatives not sure how everyone else is doing.
