clam voyager poles bent

on last day of ice fishing last year on the way to the lake my house blew out of the back of my truck and the poles on the front got bent. So the left side of the house is lifted. My question is would it be better to just replace the bent poles or put them in a vice and try to straighten them out. I stopped by the headquarters in rogers and they told me I have to order them online they don't do that there?

I have fixed a few. You can always try it and if it doesn't work then order new ones. Just try it now before the ice comes and they get busy with replacement orders coming in for the season.

If you have some pictures of the damaged pole, we might be able to help you out in deciding if it is repairable, or if it needs replacing.

I've had luck buying a 2" (or whatever size fits snugly) wooden dowel and pounding them into the bent pole. It seems to straighten them out well enough to continue to use.
