Clam X2 Thermal Heater

I have ran an x2 a couple times and the big buddy is the way to go!! I feel that sunflowers can be to warm at times and are a potential fire hazard. I like the big buddy because you can really control the heat and most also have a built in fan to kick it up a notch if you like to be toasty. Another thing is packing. i dont like to bring 20lb tanks around with me and even though most will take a 1 lb cylinder I like having the option of having the cover on them when they are hooked up so they are not banging around. the pilot is amazing!! No more burnt hair on my knuckles from using a lighter!!

I run a Mr. Heater heater/cooker in mine. Sometimes I take 1# propane cans and sometimes I take the hose and 20# tank, but when I take the latter its admittedly more cramped with gear in the tub.

Good luck. Looks like the Mr. Heater Big Buddy puts out 18K BTUs versus the Heater Cooker maxing out at 14K.
