Franco
Well the time finally came, we were able to get out on the ice this weekend. Some have been out earlier but on sketchy ice conditions. Here in Southern Saskatchewan we are now able to safely go out as our lakes are locked up quite tight, most are at 12 to 16 inches. Although the weekend was generally slow on most of our lakes within an hour of Regina, we did manage to ice some Walleyes, they were extremely finicky both Saturday and Sunday, but I expect that to change once our weather stabalizes. I hope all have a great week and upcoming weekend. I would have liked to post some pictures but am unsure as to how to go about that (i am illiterate or ignorant that way) so any help would be great. By for now. Franco.
Jason Durham
Franco, Great to hear you got out! To walk on water for the first time each season is indescribable. To post a photo, click on the 5th icon from the left on the toolbar above the message you're typing. It looks like a photo of a sunset and a blue arrow facing up. Then just select your photo from your gallery of images on the computer and you're set to go!
Jason Hamilton
Good stuff, yes I'd like to see some photos of those Sask 'eyes...some giants swimming in that province!
Franco
:)Thanks Jason, unfortunately i never got any photos from this trip, but now I know how to post them and I will on the next time. As for these ones they were not that big, maybe 2 pounds ( good eaters ), but we do have many giants here. I am sure they wil start pounding us here soon, if you are ever out this way give me a call and perhaps we can hook up and go pound some Saskatchewan eyes. You can call me at 306 536 9818 or email me at [email protected]. Take care, talk to soon. Franco.
