Thinking I am still about a month off from my first steps onto the ice. But, man, I really do have the itch to get back on the ice this year. And the excitement is much more so than the previous years. Probably has to do a lot with that our season was so short last year. And this darn cold blast we got recently didnt help much!!

But, in actuality, I think this forum and everything else associated with Ice Team has to be the biggest cause for my excitment this year. Ice Team has always been a huge part of my fishing career. It is the very reason on how I got my start into the fishing industry, some 10 years ago. I still remember back then, talking to the veterans in the ice industry, admiring their dedication to helping others that they barely knew, but bonded because they each shared the love for ice fishing, and fishing in general. Because of their willingness to share and their overall giving nature, I dreamed to become "one of those guys".

And now with the resurgence of Ice Team, and to be a part of "those guys" today, is humbling. And I truly hope I can give back as much to everyone I run across in my travels with Ice Team. With any luck, I can help others strive to a goal that they may have set along with making some great friendships with other ice-heads along the way. Truly, this is what Ice Team has always ment to me and to the others that represent this great organization.

Am excited to see a lot of you this year at various shows around the Midwest and on the ice. And I hope you all are just as exited and are ready to "JOIN THE TEAM"!

SO BRING ON THE ICE, I AM READY!!
