Is anyone planning on fishing it? I just got the entry form in the mail today and it says they have plenty of room for more entries.

Yes, I am entered but I don't know if I will have my boat back from repair. I talked to Mac's bait last weekend and he told me there were 18 entries at that time.

I just talked to Ray on Friday and they have 24 so far.. I bet there will be a few late entries. Hopefully hit the 30 mark.

How did you do in the tourney? We bombed out. Caught many 13-13 1/2" fish and a few snakes. We were fishing close to the team that won it, doing the same thing they were. I guess it just wasn't our day.

Hi folks!
I just recenly moved to Arlington and have been diying to get out on Thompson or Poinsett and pester them walleyes. Can anyone give me some tips on what to do and where to begin? I finally got my boat out here so I will be hitting the water tonight or tomarrow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tracker Sucks-
We bombed also catching only 1 weigh fish. We trolled all day catching several dinks. I have never been so excited to finally catch that 14.5 incher! Do you know where and how the winners caught them? What boat were you in? I was in a grey Ranger out in the middle.
Walleye Pimp- I have no clue what to tell you about Thompson. Obviously I don't have it figured out.

fished thompson on sat. the 6th, tried nearly everything imaginable to try and stick it to them eyes, failed miserably. Bagged up on one pinner sloughshark, and one very nice smally, that was it. talked to many people at the launch when we loaded and no one seemed to be doing very well.

They ran leadcore on the North end between the supper club and the silo. Used jointed shap raps and taildancers in perch and firetiger. They caught a 5 1/2, 3 and a 15". We were doing the same thing only with wally divers. They caught there fish by 11:00 and nothing after. My brother and his partner caught 1 fish that was 2 1/2 on spinner and crawler on the first point by the cabins. We were in an older silver Alumacraft.
