Bank with no snow

So I have finally acquired a perm  shack. 4x6 with 2x2 hole in center. Loving it. Anyway quick question regarding banking when all of the snow has melted. Oh and long time no talk.

I've had to bank my house twice this year. Both times there was not any snow on the ice. Thankfully there was some snow caught up in the cattails by shore. I pulled a sled up to shore and filled it with snow. Took a few trips.
