Hey all,
This time of year I tend to start reading my bird hunting books to help fuel the fire. By Oct. I'm fully wound up. My favorites are in no particular order...
Drummer in the woods - Burton Spiller
Pheasants of the Mind - Datus Proper
Pheasant Hunters Notebook - Larry Brown
Grouse Feathers - Burton Spiller (auto graphed)
Pheasants Forever coffee table book
New England Grouse Shooting - William Foster
Hunting the Sun - Ted Lundrigan
Pheasant Hunters Harvest - Steve Grooms

I really like Spiller's and Lundrigan's writing style, I feel like I'm right next to them hunting, and Proper's thoughts though he's a bit full of himself.

What are your favorite books on the subject?

Well their not all bird hunting books but these are the ones I have on the night stand presently.
