New trailer

Hey everyone! I currently have a 6x12 utility trailer and when I bought it about a year and half ago I had a 500 and a 90 and it works great for that but I found a good deal on a 05 Polaris 330 magnum and couldn't pass it up but soon realized 2 full sized atvs do not fit of a 6x12 so I need something bigger yeah I know put one on the trailer and one it the truck but it would be so nice to have them both on the trailer so my options are a 6'6x12 with some kind of Atv side ramp but just can't decide weather I want a side ramps or the Ramps that slide in the side to make your side I like the ramp but I think it would get annoying because i use it for a lot more than just hauling atvs that's why I like the 2 single ramps. I don't want anything bigger than 6'6x12 than it just gets to big. What's better? Thanks!

Does anyone out there know if its even possible to put 2 atvs on a 6x12 anyone make some kind of deck of front to hold a wheeler I've tired every thing but know realized that i would have to pay fees and re license a new trailer which i don't want to do. If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated!!

Well I did some looking on line and found some ideas but none I liked so I put me engineering skills to use and thought of this idea it works great going to pick up some more d rings for the deck to tie down and some of those heavy duty straps I relized I can keep my spare tire on too which makes me happy and it's not hurting the trailer at all so it works great used my old wooden ramps and I didn't need to buy a new trailer! Cost me nothing to!

Oddly enough, I was just in the process of listing an aluminum for an elderly friend. It is a 2009 7x13 alumna that has been used VERY little. He is asking $2300 which is 30% less than new. It has a side ramp that he had an insert made for. He still has the ramp that bolts in. May you it isn't what you are looking for or is out of your price range, but is a really nice trailer. Here are some pics. Let me know if you have any interest.

....just re-read the post... Maybe 7x13 is too big

Smoking deal! 7x13 is a little big man if I had the extra cash and I could get rid of the trailer I currently have and I would take it in a heart beat! Thanks for the offer though!

    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
    • The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
    • It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
