bigeyes
Just wondering what I need to do if I want to go up there and work on some live fire/pen raised bird training? I already have the training permit, but it is for a specific piece of private property out west. I would probably be going up on weekends. Is it availible for all the public to use or do I have to schedule times I am there with other dog clubs, etc. Setterguy this is probably your area of expertise. setterguy
To be able to train on the four brooks you need a permit from the MN federation of field trial clubs. I get mine from the president of our club, so I don't know exactly how to attain one through other sources. Even with the permit you do have to follow the schedule of events for the grounds. Weekends are usually pretty busy from here on out as I think there are 6-7 clubs that use the grounds. Sorry for not having more info, I will check into it and see what I can find out. bigeyes
Thanks, too bad the state does not set aside a few more pieces open to the general public for training, etc.
