1lessdog
I was in Costco today and seen a Yeti Electric generator and you charge either with Solar panels or a 110 outlet. Other than being 1300.00 it didn't seem to bad. Would be easy and worry free if a person was only running lights and TV'S. Anyone else seen them? http://www.goalzero.com/p/138/goal-zero-yeti-1250-solar-generator-kit
grasshopper
Kind of spendy and heavy. I'll stick with my noisy Honda.
elkrivermn
Why support products from overseas? Buy an Owens from Fridley built by Cummings an American owned company. LindellProStaf
LindellProStaf
Do they make small generators that you can carry like a Honda or Yamaha? grasshopper

They use to build portables, dropped them after the imports flooded the box stores. They supply about 90% of RV gen sets.

Be a steal at around $400. The solar panels appear to only put out 30 watts of power each so to recharge the battery you are looking at at least a day with full sun. You could accomplish the same thing buy buying a batteriy and adding a inverter to it then just recharging after every use. My fear would be after a few years and the batteries die you are stuck with a fancy and expensive inverter.
