Is it difficult to add tilt n trim fluid? Suzuki lower gear lube

tilt and trim should not be a problem nor should be lower unit oil, it is advisable to change out your lower unit in the fall as part of your boat/motor storage routine as this way you make sure you do not trap any water in your lower unit. I have always gone with name brand manufacture fluids for my replacement, for the few extra bucks it is worth the peace of mind when dealing with something that can cost you thousands to repair.

With older motors I think that any reputable gear lube is fine. On my bigger 2009 Suzuki, I bend over and buy the Suzuki brand gear case oil. I was at least happy to discover last night that I didn't need to drain the gear case when I changed the impeller. It was surprisingly easier to drop the lower unit than I figured....easier than my 1963 5hp Seahorse!
