Salmon Tuna Patties

Really would like to have some fresh fish but Canned salmon and Canned Tuna was the deal this time around.  Using fresh fish  makes for better texture for me.  Usually cut up fresh fish in small pieces and put them in a food processor for a few spins.  Cooked or canned fish make the patties "softer" but the flavor is still fine and I was in the mood for some fish patties anyway.  Made some fried potatoes as the side [a must have with fried fish or patties for me].  Fried the potatoes with bacon and left the skin on the potatoes of course.  In the mix was canned salmon, canned tuna,Italian bread crumbs, plain yogurt, 2 eggs, kechup, dried minced onion, and dried dill.  good luck.

 

 

Everything is in the bowl to be mixed up.

 

 

I wait until the bacon forms some grease and get's a little brown before I add the potatoes.

 

 

Used Crisco in a cast iron pan to brown those patties up.
