Ice jigging options

Same clear, shallow lake ive posted about before.  Fine tuning tip up options but looking for jigging ideas.  Northland airplane with meat?  Large jigging rap?  Lunker city 9" fin s?

Have you considered jigging with bait???

I have had good success this season jigging with dead bait. Weighted with just the weight of the hook and leader or maybe just a single split shot to get it to fall. 

The strike is usually very violent and comes on the fall or the pause.

I have and will try, do like your idea of mostly an unweighted deadbait offering!

Based on observations I have seen spearing I would go with a large dead sucker to get that roll on the fall or even a 2.5 -3.0 inch trolling or daredevil type spoon.  The bigger the bait the more aggressive the big fish have been.
