Guest
My inlaws are from the floodwood area. I was up there last weekend and heard of a group that was going to the game farm. The only thing I found interesting was that the farm was going to put the birds out the night before. You will get alot of input from hunters that game farms are a waste of your time and money, for me when I bought my springer I joined a game farm so I could use their facility to train my dog with real birds. At the time their wasn't a ton of wild birds out there. My opinion is that game farms serve a purpose, wether you want train your dog or go out with friends and family to have fun. fishnutbob
When I trained dogs I liked to shoot as many birds as possible over young dogs, and a game farm is a good way to go. I also would get pigeons and dizzy them and place them in the field for the young dogs to hunt.
