exactly. There is a trash can AT THE LANDING!!! I just don't understand the mentality.

Always pick up trash it seems the worse is cig butts and sunflower seeds/nut shells those really tick me off just laziness

That is disappointing to hear about trash on the lake already. Kudos to you for picking up after others. Many of these same people who leave trash on the ice would never consider tossing empty beer bottles into the lake during the open water season, yet somehow justify this behavior because the water is frozen?  I don't get it at all. Its maddening.
