pikechaser
Question for any of you auto body guys. I have an 03 Silverado only like 90k miles. Haven't driven it much on winter roads. I'm getting a couple small rust bubbles above the rear wheels. I'm assuming this has started from the inside and is working it's way out. Is there much that can be done about it or I'm pretty much screwed?
MNice
When I had my 01, the same thing happened. I just ground out all the rust, sprayed bedliner on and bought the factory plastic wheel well opening to cover it up.
overdalimit
They make an "over the arch" patch that we provide and install for $800 a side. This includes paint. I'm sure that some do it for more and perhaps someone does it for less. It will buy you about 6 years or so if done correctly. Another place they let go is in the rocker panels and cab corners also look at the seam on the door bottoms. Nothing lasts forever...especially in Minnesota.
