Found deer

I found a nice buck a while back, and today I finally called the Sheriff to get a tag for it.  I know if it was my deer I would want the opportunity to get it back.  I will say it was east of the cities and there is a distinctive feature to the rack. 

If you can describe the antlers, tell me when it was shot(i found it with in a day maybe 2 of it being shot), and the area you shot it we can work something out. 

Heads up to the hunter it's going to the taxidermist in a couple hours for a Euro mount.

One last shot at claiming the head.  If this is yours please contact me with the date taken and area it was taken.  Again this was found east of the twin cities.  Maybe a pic will help the cause.

Just got the deer back from the taxidermist.  A little more back story to the find.  I originally found the deer while fishing on the St Croix at the beginning of November about a third of the way to the Kinny from Prescott on the MN side laying 30 yards from someone's cabin.  I could not get ahold of the land owner so I left it lay for the time being.  Shortly after that the water rose and there the deer lay for a month, I figured it would be gone for sure by the time I could get to it again.
