there is litterally nuthing up here. its sad. Local cafes offer the best homestyle food, hot beef or pork sandwiches and thing on a sunday after church, which is fine. if I want a burer, we have 5 guys burgers. which are the best ive had in this area, but serves pop only its more of a fastfood joint than a burger beer sports bar thing. but we have a the usual heat up frozen or grilers thqt cant grill a steak type places. pretty sad.

I'm a huge fan of (authentic) Mexican food, and within that category, it is really hard to beat El Triunfo in Northfield.  Specifically their shredded beef street tacos.  I read reviews online and went in prepared for the dumpiest of dumpy facilities.  I'm actually shocked the health department hasn't shut them down, but the food is excellent, and you'll walk out stuffed for about $6. Get their green sauce on the side and be prepared for some major heat.  

Then wash it all down with a salted caramel cupcake from Cakewalk a couple blocks away.

You're fortunate to have a 5 Guys, though.  That's a solid Burger, a bit pricey but it's really good.

got to eat at one of my fav's yesterday for one of my fav sandwiches..........a philly cheese steak sandwhich at the sawmill in in grand rapids!!!!!
