Greasing Skid

I am greasing the Zirc points on the suspension. I was told to pump grease until I see new grease coming out of the shaft (and spindle) ends. I am usually seeing new grease on only one end. Do I need to keep pumping until it oozes out of both sides? I just get more on the first side. Thanks

pisces, looks like a while since you posted this not sure if you worked it out or not? Part of the issue is if a shaft gets a little rust or old hard packed grease in it as older sleds will have happen. The new grease is just going to take the path of least resistance and flow that way. You can pump all you want and may not be able to blow some grease on that one side past it. A few things you can try is warming up the stuck shaft end with a hair dryer or heat gun and bounce the end of the sled up and down pretty hard a few times to work the shafts and try it again to see if you can get the old grease to flow or the rust to loosen up. If that doesn't work and your worried about it. The only other thing is to drop the track and work the shafts out and clean them up and re-grease them. But that is a big pain!
